Welcome! We are C.A.C Consulting Group! The goal of this blog is to consolidate information regarding affordable housing in the US, especially navigating affordable housing in the City of New York. We will cover topics on LIHTC, Section 8, Section 236, Section 226, Rent Stabilization and the moderate program. If you are new to affordable housing, affordable housing is defined as not paying more than 30% of your income towards your rent. There are a variety of programs that fall under the umbrella of affordable, some of which are listed above. We look forward to hearing your experiences with affordable housing programs.
